  5. exposethefishbullies is back! awesome! there should be some kind of drinking game where a shot is taken every time they refer to the readers of FishFraud as 'little fucks' or to the FishFraud blog itself as 'shit-blog'. You should be hammered by the second paragraph.

  6. HAH! Maybe it's time to take Google's suggestion and monetize this blog with ads, because the stats are going to skyrocket.

  7. Yep, that's exactly what I would do if I were a professional media consultant - make it crystal clear to all potential clients that I have a potty mouth and the strategic prowess of a slug in manure. Wow. That guy is brilliant. Kiss all your clients goodbye Mr. Frischling. Who on earth wants to touch someone who can't control their temper? Still can't figure this out can you?

  8. A down vote? That's hilarious. Let's see how many ISPs Mr. Fishenvainglory can find amongst his friends.

  9. Yes, because ExposeTheBullies did so much to help him last time. Wasn't it shocking how much FishFraud was exposed? I couldn't believe how much they exposed FF and all the stuff we found out about FF! They did such a good job that FF immediately stopped blogging and has been in hiding ever since.

Oh wait, none of that happened.

  10. interesting how ExposeTheBullies doesn't seem to care that Frischling is going to trial for two felonies. And he is going to lose.

  11. welcome back Expose The Bullies!!! It seems Fish's "favourite" pupil is off his lithium again.

  12. Expose The Bullies is clearly Fielding's pathetic attempt to have a voice in this argument again now that FishFraud has, very wisely, decided to label his potty-mouthed (and frankly insane) posts here with his name.

  14. The thing that Mr. social media guru does not seem to get is that blogging is all about content. FishFraud is so popular because of the never ending stream of content that Steven Frischling provides. Now, it could have been that the historical content is finite and will eventually be exhausted, but Frischling is doing his best to provide a never-ending stream of fresh, and increasing my interesting content. Thank you Fish!

When a person or persons have demonstrated an unwillingness to abstain from profanity laced tirades against others even when silence would better suit their purpose, suggesting to them an alternative approach is absolutely appropriate.

When a person or persons have demonstrated an INABILITY to abstain from profanity laced tirades against others even when silence would better suit their purpose, continued reminders to this effect can go rather beyond one's personal social responsibility.

Provoking someone who is unable to respond appropriately, not by their own choice but as the result of circumstances not necessarily within their control, and doing this for one's own amusement goes beyond an attempt to engage in the original conversation. Winding someone up on purpose, as a child would with a toy, is a cruelty in which those who do know better should not engage.

On one side, there is a continuous stream of comments such as "pussy," "pussies," "fucks," and "little fucks" and on the other there are new words being added to the Urban Dictionary and promotional products being made for sale. It is quite clear that one side has taken the intellectual high road, but are the end results really so different? Is there a moral distinction to be made between calling someone a “pussy” and using more clever forms of insults?

I am in no way defending Mr Frischling's past actions, but “bullies” may not be an entirely unfounded accusation. Attacking Frischling by accusing him of being fat, being on welfare, and being unattractive and then provoking him into predictable reflexive responses for amusement is something that would land one in the principal's office if this were a high school. Words, as Frischling himself is undoubtedly finding, have consequences, and a person should not be treated in this manner regardless of their real and alleged misdeeds. Situations such as these have escalated to the point of individuals doing real physical harm to themselves or to others, and everyone has a point at which they could be driven to commit unspeakable horrors. Fortunately, most people are never pushed to that point.

Listing the known and suspected lies and other misbehavior that have been an on going matter of public record is acceptable as long as it is for the purpose of ensuring that as many of the “wrongs” can be made right again. Personal attacks, in the mean time, exponentially decrease the possibility that anything productive will emerge from all of this. I am confident that we are adults enough to look past being referred to as “fucks” and “pussies” if it doing so can clear a path to a substantive conversation.

I believe that I have been reasonably fair in my comments, though at times perhaps a bit condescending.

  16. Granted, I am not a SM guru like our hero but every time I navigate to this site I use a simple "Steven Frischling" search on Google®. Recently the top four items listed in the return are two FishFraud posts, a Frischling photo site and then his blog. Clearly that is the strongest and most creative way to promote yourself as a social media savvy leading blogger in the airline/travel sector. I can't wait for him to start leading workshops around the world to promote his successful strategies...

Even though I am not a successful social media entrepreneur, I still think you must land actual paying clients to have the need to generate invoices? Also wouldn't you provide links on your blog to all of the impressive "work" for your "clients" to help promote the growth of your small business instead of merely tweeting for jobs?

  22. some precious stuff on FB:

Unfriggin' believable. My daughter has a social studies project due to tomorrow on a topic where I am widely recognized expert on the topic ... and she primarily sourced her info from conspiracy and myth sites. This is not going to go over well for someone when turn their project in.

The United States in a post-9/11 world. She is addressing changes in America immediately following the attacks ... something I documented for a year for Corbis, as well as changes in national security ... something I documented almost non-stop for 3.5 years and still cover constantly, and am quoted on fairly often by a number of major international news outlets. Oh yea ... and have been consulted on by the House Committee on Homeland Security.

    ReplyDelete
  23. ^ That's absurd. The House Committee on Homeland Security? Please email me a screenshot of this BS.

Uh, Dad, my teacher is asking for a list of the "major international news outlets" that quote you and when those quotes occurred so that he/she can verify that "fairly often" statistic.

  35. Steve Frischling remembers campaign workers throwing 20 patrons of a diner out and replacing them with 15 hand-picked patrons, for a visit by their Presidential candidate. How desperate are they?? Perhaps those with "any luck finding the AOL photojournalism discussion boards," as well as others, find that FishFraud blog to be taboo at this time and wish to stay away.

  38. 4:01. How sad and misguided, you should be more thoughtful. I thought you were against censorship. Don't you think Frischling would be happy to find that we're so interested in what he has to say? I thought that's why he makes all those posts - so we can read them. I thought you'd be happy about that. Why shouldn't I be interested in what he wrote? Hmm. Why be suspicious that I might make fun of what he wrote? Maybe I'll praise some of his wisdom instead. Wouldn't that be helpful?

    ReplyDelete
  45. ^ Oct. 2, 11:33 AM, I think 2 people (Sunny Vulva and Fielding) are the ones writing all the comments on ETB. Frischling may be the creator of that blog, but I doubt he writes anything there. He can't spell to save his life, but I have yet to find a single profanity-laced post written by him anywhere (usenet, nppa-l, SS, twitter, etc.) during numerous searches for more awesome Fish tales.

    Probably because you are Jewish.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, the good people over at ETB seem to have a theory about the ads...

"Unfucking believable, ADS on the FishFraud anti-Semitic, hate blog. I guess they are planning on needing some serious cash to pay court costs, attorney fees and of course the fucking settlement."

Seriously, folks, you can't make this stuff up.

Well, I guess if there's anyone that would know about the need to raise cash to pay legal fees and settlements, it would be Frischling & co.

Fish and his minions are truly off their collective rockers.

    ReplyDelete
  49. 6:12. No kidding. Court cases for what? What crime was committed?

Google kept suggesting we monetize the blogs with ads, so why not? Especially since Fish & Friends try so hard to increase our traffic.

    ReplyDelete
  50. That's because they think you're someone else. The wishful thinking, delusions, fabrications, lying, hateful rhetoric in their own right, continue at ETB.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The October 4, 2011 9:50 PM comment on ETB makes no sense, as usual. This guy really winds himself up over delusions. Sad, plus nothing I have ever submitted to comments here has been edited or rewritten. These ETB folk sound positively daft!

    ReplyDelete
  52. There isn't any hate in asking someone to pay people back the money and things they owe others, and to stop lying about their professional experience. In fact, it's incredibly insulting to everyone harmed by it. Who knows what else there is he's done.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Nothing I've written here has ever been twisted or edited into something else (and my name isn't Moe, Larry or Curly). Yet one comment I made on ETB appeared here altered from what I wrote. And questions posed to Mr. Frischling on his blog about some conflicts in his stories suddenly vanish into thin air without a response. I suppose he's following his commitment to not caring about what he says or does.

    ReplyDelete
  54. 7:12. I also posted a comment on ETB, and it also was altered. When are they going to expose the bully dammit? It's been over six months already!

    ReplyDelete
  55. ETB asks, "Is Addison/Chris or whomever he chooses to be called at this time, planning on sharing any revenue from the ads on that FF site with those that produce content for it?"

As far I can tell the only person who actually ever produced content for Fish Fraud was Steven Frischling. Everything posted here has been cut and pasted from Frischling's numerous web comments.

ETB goes on, "Doubt it, rather similar to the infamous US Presswire debacle on the SS site. Work for free so some fucking clown can make $$ off YOUR content."

    October 4, 2011 10:36 PM

Since we have a good idea who is one of the ETB correspondents this tangent is just too funny, biting the hand that barely feeds him to boot. Sound career judgment once again.

    ReplyDelete
  56. ^ If ETB is so concerned about hurt feelings on blogs, shouldn't he be worried about lawsuits for continually defaming Addison (who has nothing to do with this blog)? Maybe ETB's team of lawyers is on retainer!

Or, perhaps ETB should put ads on his blog to save up to buy more career advice from Frischling! (Actual value: $0.0000000000001)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Who is Chris the ETB blog keeps talking about?

    ReplyDelete
  58. ^ When ETB first came out, he accused Addison of being behind FishFraud. Except he called him a pseudonym, "Chris," to avoid defaming him (while claiming to be exposing him). Now he's just defaming him.

    ReplyDelete
  59. ETB is so childish and lame its not funny. And this is from a self-proclaimed "social media strategist and executor"? Make sure you provide frequent citations and links to the ETB site to ensure that Frischlings future "clients" can see the strategy and execution in action!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Ok. Thanks FF for clearing that up for me.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Why is Fish after Addison so? Isn't that over a long time ago? Besides Addison has never responded to the baiting other than to have his lawyer send Fish a letter. Nothing heard from since.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Why is Fish after Addison so? Isn't that over a long time ago?

It's far from over. The reason Frishling is on the court docket facing changes is because he's been accused of altering an invoice from IAG, Addison's company.

    ReplyDelete
  63. *Facing CHARGES, not changes.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Addison reported it to the police as a crime. He has nothing to do with it anymore. It's not like it's a personal lawsuit. It's the State of Connecticut vs. Frischling.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Addison can still file a personal lawsuit, though. Try to recover the damages. Too bad Fish probably has a negative net worth.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Why would this guy Addison even waste his time suing Frischling? All of the money had been used up on on-line porn and breakfast cereal by now.

An important rule of civil suits: Don't sue people are on welfare, are being evicted from their third rented home and who are likely heading to prison.

I judgment against Steven Frischling isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Typos were intentional so Sunny Volvo can have something to talk about rather than addressing the issue at hand.

    You're welcome Susannah.

    ReplyDelete
  68. You have to imagine that once Frischling is found guilty, his sentence will include some kind of restitution. Don't you think that is standard?

So why bother to sue now? Let the courts convict him and force him to pay back the money he stole. If they don't then Addison can sue. Not sure what the statute of limitations is. But he can add harassment and defamation charges on top of it. Addison has nothing to do with this blog and can prove it in court.

  72. I had a vivid dream last night. We were all having a FishFraud first year anniversary party. People flew in from all over the world to Amsterdam just to celebrate the blog and to share stories of Steven Frishling’s exploits.

I was in a corner of the room sharing drinks with Andrew, Chris and Addison. Then, all of a sudden there was a very special visitor – none other than Steven Frischling himself. He was on one of his typical four-continents-in-two-days photography trips and decided to break his journey to drop in and see us. He enters the room wearing a Scottevest strapped with pink-taped camera gear hanging all over his body, and carrying three Macbooks and an iPad at his side. It was quite a sight as he entered, and the entire room echoed with applause. No sooner did he sit down with a can of Mexican Coca Cola, he was asked to speak. To a mesmerized crowd he spoke of his many lenses, encounters with natural and man-made disasters, outsmarting the TSA and phone sex companies, dodging terrorists and flying bullets, late nights in the darkroom, peanut allergies and his other numerous medical problems. Imagine a real-life twitter feed directly from the man himself and you will know just how exciting it was.

Then, all of a sudden he stopped and said “oy vey, I’ve got three blog postings and a strategy for a client to complete by tonight” He then let out a final “woo hoo” and was gone in a flash. We all stood there speechless as he left the room, frequent flyer platinum-card in hand. As the world’s premier travel strategist and executor, we knew only he could leave the room one hour before an international fight and actually get on it. After he left, I went over to the spot where he was just standing, and saw that something had fallen out of his pocket – it was some froot cereal and a used boarding pass - a first class to Basrah, Iraq. I looked at the date and realized he had been there the night before just after a major terrorist attack.

Then, I woke up and realized this was just a dream.

    ReplyDelete

That could only happen if Icenlandair had never Google'd "Steven Frischling"

@icelandair did tweet the following a while back. I looked through their other recent tweets and didn't catch any serious misspellings, so doubt SF ever 'took over' their Twitter feed.

  99. frischling is now naming people that have spoken out on fish fraud.

"I have read some of the comments both here and the FishFraud blog and I have become sickened to what I see permeating from them. Perhaps we need to contact the known contributors to that FishFraud site as well as Google to see what can be done about it. As far as we know, the known contributors themselves may be the troublemakers behind that blog.

I'm quite sure the employers of the known contributors would be extremely surprised at what their employees are doing, posting such anti-Semitic, inflammatory, hate-rhetoric on that FishfFraud site. One must be extremely ill to feel the need to participate.

One contributor, Sam Morris from Henderson, NV who works for the Las Vegas Sun newspaper even uses his work e-mail address on his posts.

Another contributor, Chuck Liddy is a staff photographer for The News & Observer in Durham, NC.

The other hate-mongrels seem to be self-employed - Delane B. Rouse, Owner/Senior Photographer with DC Corporate Headshots in Washington, DC, Mike Brice, a photographer from Salt Lake City, UT, as well as Michael Granse, also a photographer, from Urbana, IL.

I think contact made of the self-employed to some of their clients and the BBB in their respective areas may help control/STOP their hate messages and participation in that blog.

In the meantime, feel free to send your notes of concern to the Anti-Defamation League at adl@adl.org.

    Again, thank you."

  100. I'm sure the ADL would be horrified to know about the existence of Steven Frischling.

  101. If ETB and Fish want to start a campaign to increase awareness of FishFraud, especially among journalists, nobody here would complain.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Wait - at what point has there been anything anti-Semitic on here? Fuck Fish. He can't respond on any substance of issues so he has to resort to believing that we're calling him out because we hate Jews. No, we just hate lying photographers.

Enjoy the 17 more days until pre-trial kicks off.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Again, he's got nothing, and he's just proving it over and over. Not one of those guys he mentions wrote anything close to anything he just claimed! Each one of them, with some restraint, I might add, asks him to show evidence that he's not lying - and guess what? He doesn't! All you have to do is READ (!) this blog.

  104. By using those names he also just gave up his own "anonymous" and posts.

  118. What comes to mind is that photo of him in the hospital, to prove he was actually there. Then when you see the photo, it still leaves doubt. It's barely believable that he's actually in the hospital being treated for anything - possible, but doubtful (you can't see anything besides him and what's behind his head. No hospital, no room, nothing). He sets it up, knowing it's not true. He's looking into the camera, wanting you to believe it, and when you don't, he's incredulous, throwing all kinds of excuses at you how it's your fault you don't believe him.

  121. ^4:58 what a bunch of crap. What are they doing talking to Steven Frischling? How does a "globe-hopping photographer and social media strategist and executor" all of a sudden become an expert on intelligence and foreign affairs? His only claim is to have some low-level contact at DHS which was obviously left out of the loop. So the US thwarts a attack on the Saudi embassy and all he can do as an armchair quarterback is second judge it. Un-freakin' believable.

    ReplyDelete
  122. "security observer", that is laughable. just because he used to take self-assigned photos of tsa agents and cops on boats in boston harbor that somehow makes him qualified to comment on iran? he sounded like an idiot next to the woman from amnesty international who obviously knows something about affairs in the middle east.

    ReplyDelete
  124. A day without FishFraud, is like a day without___________

    ReplyDelete
  125. Let's start to analyze the informed musings of the great "security observer."

He says in the transcript, "This is an assassination attempt that would have likely occurred in the Saudi embassy in DC, which is Saudi soil."
According to most sources available by the time he was on air, the attack was going to take place in a DC eatery:
    http://tinyurl.com/5sha5ou

He then goes on to say, "That’s a State Department issue, that’s something that I don’t get in too much. I deal with the securities and terrorism aspects of these issues, just because that’s what I cover."

How can someone purport to cover "securities and terrorism" issues not cover the State Dept. and not have contacted his sources there prior to going on a radio program to opine on a plot that centers on a foreign diplomat?

He ends with, "That is something that is more important to me right now – how they are going to be dealt with – because the terror act was to carried out within the borders of the US but not on the US soil."

So his conclusion is that what is "important" to him is based on his lack of proper source information.

VoR has a credibility issue from the get go because it is often accused of being propaganda outlet for the Russian government. This credibility issue is worsened when they use an alleged "security observer" whose career is based on the security of his four-year-old child and nothing more. They should be ashamed of that guest commentator decision.

    ReplyDelete
  126. From the transcript:

"Steven Frischling: The aspect where you are wrong is about Iran, which was listed 83 or 84 by the US as a terror-backer..."

    http://english.ruvr.ru/2011/10/12/58594513.html

    From the State Department:

    "State Sponsors of Terrorism

Countries determined by the Secretary of State to have repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism are designated pursuant to three laws: section 6(j) of the Export Administration Act, section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act, and section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act. Taken together, the four main categories of sanctions resulting from designation under these authorities include restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance; a ban on defense exports and sales; certain controls over exports of dual use items; and miscellaneous financial and other restrictions.

Designation under the above-referenced authorities also implicates other sanctions laws that penalize persons and countries engaging in certain trade with state sponsors. Currently there are four countries designated under these authorities: Cuba, Iran, Sudan and Syria."

he actually did go to that chinese new year thing in hong kong, it was part of one of his "workshops" on traveling with camera equipment to a foreign country and shooting something during a layover. I can't remember what he called these workshops but I do remember only one or two people signing up to do it. I feel sad for anyone that has to pay frischling to learn how to get on a plane and fly to hong kong to shoot a parade just to turn around and come home. most normal people wouldn't need someone to show them how to do that.
