Frischling Case Continued to January 18!

This according to the New London court clerk. No other news yet in felony case of one of the biggest douchebags on the Internet.

  2. Our theory is they ran out of time today. It was supposed to be at 10 am yet he was tweeting away until what, 2 pm?

  3. So I'm assuming restitution + fine? It sucks that he's not getting jail time. I'd settle for house arrest.

    "Mike Brice @MikeBrice
@flyingwithfish Well why don't you explain it on your blog - you don't deny the case is still pending - court records show that. Or do you?"

    "Flying With Fish @flyingwithfish
You know, it never ceases to amaze me how much some people need to get a life, especially those who have their facts completely wrong."

  5. I love how Steven tries to spin a continuance as a "win". What an ass. Steven, you're going to jail. Continuances do not equal a win. In fact, more continuances (often) = more jail time... judges get pissed as douchebags playing games.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Prison term seems doubtful for non-violent "first-time" offender. The best thing is he will no doubt have to plead guilty to something, whether a felony or misdemeanor. How can he claim he's innocent after that? And then we can get our hands on the mug shot. Non-stop LOLs.

His only "usual routes" these days are back and forth to court.

  8. I have to say after reading this stuff for months and having had some nasty discussions with the fish that there could be more to this than any of us know. although he is a lying douchebag I have to wonder whether the prosecution is having problems and not fraudfish. I've never seen a defendant granted this many continuances...ever. now I've seen the prosecution get as many as they want to get witnesses and more evidence gathered, but never a defendant. and since no one will actually go to one of these appearances and find out exactly what transpired I wouldn't hold my breath thinking this jerk is going to jail. to me it seems the prosecution has fucked something up....

    ReplyDelete
  9. it seems like this is pretty normal actually. Defendants are allowed continuances but eventually must enter a plea. Since he was ranting and raving after his last court date you can bet he was forced to plead guilty or go to trial where he would lose.

What an absolute nudnick. He is probably cowering in the courtroom during each proceeding as his lawyer tries to minimize the consequences of his actions that resulted in two felony charges. I bet the only thing he says is, "Yes, your honor" and "No, your honor" (or most likely "honour".

    ReplyDelete
  11. if fishdick went to trial he'd surely lose. I would imagine that the prosecution would seek out the many that he has screwed over in the past to testify to establish a history of fraud. they could also show his keen ability to lie by printing out the myriad of conflicting stories that reside on the internet. I sure hope it goes to trial.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Of course he's going to gloat and claim victory. What else do you expect? But the funny thing will be his reaction when the incriminating details are published. Public record.

    ReplyDelete
  13. 4:15, it's not going to trial since it's already at the disposition stage. It's a black-and-white case. He was caught red handed and then was caught lying to the state police. His lawyer no doubt told him that and convinced him to plead guilty to avoid prison time. Remember his Facebook rants about useless people after his last hearing? How much do you want to bet that was referring to his lawyer?

If Fishtard's lawyer didn't get paid in advance, good luck collecting that...

    ReplyDelete
  14. lol you know he will decide his lawyer was incompetent and doesn't deserve to be paid

  15. hahahahahahahahahaha. all the build up and nothing again. i am not laughing at anyone, it is just this story seems pretty familiar.

"omgomgomg finally fish is going to get what is coming to him"

i have been reading this since the beginning and i don't know. i am starting to question who is the one that is over playing everything most...

other than providing entertainment and maybe (maybe) stopping fish from doing work with national, what has this blog really done?!

    ReplyDelete
  16. it's done what it's set out to do. Exposed him as a liar. He's become a bit fat laughingstock in multiple areas. Yeah National dropped him directly because of this site but nobody else will hire him either.

The best part though to a lot of us is that the stupid fucker finally stopped posting on SS! Nobody else could accomplish that. FishFraud, I salute you!

    ReplyDelete
  17. @6:22.
Wait, was the purpose of this blog to see Fish arrested/in jail? I don't really understand how you would think that to be an objective. The felony charges, as I see it, we hope will stick so that he faces himself and his lies for once instead of 1. Pretending like everyone is wrong or 2. Playing the victim.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @6:22 there is a lot you don't see. His personal brand has been destroyed. There has to be a lot of opportunity that has been lost. Remember SimpliLying? Fish was dropped real quick after the arrest and the FishFraud post. There has to be more we don't know about.

Anyway, the felony arrest was icing on the cake. We never anticipated it - it just came as a gift from the heavens. If he was exonerated, yea it would be disappointing, but its only one element of the FishFraud findings over the past year.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The blog was started to 1) expose Steven Frischling as an incompetent fraud so people would not hire him as a wedding photographer and 2) discredit him so he will not be used as a media source. Obviously there is work to be done since journalists too lazy to vet their sources are still using him. We found out about his KLM forgery/larceny after the blog started. As 8:56 stated, it was just an extra explosion of entertainment in the trainwreck that is Steven Frischling's life.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think FishFraud has been pretty effective at that, at least in travel industry circles. Its amazing how many industry insiders either know about or have read FishFraud. Most of his followers left are #avgeek fanboys who have never worked a day in the industry, but are the similar type of "experts" that think they know everything because one time they got a gold card on some airline.

    4. We 3 can ensure the ex-landlords are informed so they can boost their own cases

  45. He better not get off without restitution.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It could get interesting if he gets probation and restitution. What are the odds he'll be able to come up with $5,000? Usually failure to make restitution will violate your probation.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Also, it's not unheard of for a judge to order someone owing restitution to gain employment in a certain amount of time, or violate his probation.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Can you have a court ordered judgement, like this, then declare bankruptcy and have it wiped away?

    ReplyDelete
  49. 10:06 AM - No, there are certain debts that are not wiped away by bankruptcy, including debts resulting from the commission of a crime, including fraud, theft, larceny, embezzlement, robbery. This also applies to court ordered restitution.

    ReplyDelete
  50. You cannot erase judgements, liens, collections, or 30/60/90 day past due payments by filing bankruptcy. That stuff sticks with you for 7-10 years depending on what it is and what state you're in. The only thing filing bankruptcy will do is get the collection agencies to stop calling why the courts sort out what, if anything, you can afford to repay in the way of your debts before entering your bankruptcy into the records. Bankruptcy can eliminate your obligation to pay back certain debts but those scars stay on your credit reports and drag your FICO score down for years and years. Banks often (not always) won't give mortgages to people with collections, judgements, liens, or garnishments on their records. He won't get credit cards either... only secured cards with astronomical interest rates. Car loans will be at astronomical interest rates as well. High interest rates are about as bad as cancer. Trust me... your FICO score is one way the Karma Gods either reward you or PUNISH you. I think we all know what the KG's have in store for Frischling.

    ReplyDelete
  53. What repayment be part of the conditions.

Bummer charges will be dropped. But the program is pretty common for non-violent crimes so it should have been expected.

    ReplyDelete

  57. Anyone following his tweets? They are typically a good indicator of his mood swings.

    ReplyDelete
  58. if he is part of the accelerated rehabilitation program then the charges will just be dropped, and there will be no fine. Has it been two years since he was charged with this? If that is the case then we will never know if he was found guilty or not because the charges will be dropped because of the rehab program. I can see it now: he is going to lie to everyone and tell everyone that the charges were dropped because they were phoney and unsubstantiated. That he is a victim in all of this and poor poor Steven.
When would the rehab program start?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Well, if 12:40 is correct, the little Fishy may have slipped off the hook. The initial offense date was Jan 19, 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Surely it can't be two years from the date of the offense, then defendants could just run out the clock. If the clock started two years ago when the offense happened, he would have already violated his "probation" multiple times by stiffing multiple landlords.

    ReplyDelete
  61. It has been two years, check the docket at www.jud.ct.gov And that is exactly what his lawyer had him do, run out the clock. I didn't know anything about the accelerated rehab program, but that may be what was used.

Oh well, he is still an ass clown and we can still tell people he was charged with a felony. And he seems to be off the SportsShooter message board for good. Although I can't wait for him to try posting again... Oh, that will be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  62. What about the people he did this too? How does this impact them?

    ReplyDelete
  63. sorry your highness,

    did this to?

    ReplyDelete
  64. FishFraud, can you weigh in on this? It seems mighty suspect that he was stressed on twitter and Facebook and then all of a sudden, nearly two years to the date, he was gleeful after court. How is that just? How can one be charged with a felony and just wait it out without penalty? The worst part of it all is that he will claim victory and parade around like a victim, as usual.

    ReplyDelete
  65. We don't know anything else either, except that it seems the state of Connecticut considers him a first-time non-violent offender and not a guy committing fraud after fraud.

    ReplyDelete
  66. You can't just wait it out without penalty. That program is basically like when you take deferred for a speeding ticket instead of defensive driving. You can't fuck up in the next 90 days, but it doesn't start from the date of the offense, but rather from the date of agreement to enter the program.

You can't just ask for continuances for 2 years and walk off scott free. It doesn't work that way for obvious reasons.

To be accepted into AccelRehab, the judge must decide that the crime was not serious (I think this qualifies) and must also judge that the defendant is not likely to commit the same crime again. And I think that is where Stephen fails to meet. Unless the prosecutor is a complete moron, he found this website. And while it wouldn't be accepted into evidence, this site does show that he has a predisposition towards acting in a fraudulent manner AND that he has screwed other people out of money (I call to the stand, Former Landlord!)

If Stephen did get accepted into AccelRehab, he would then start his 2 years of probation. Clear that and he is home free.

Calling the court clerk would probably tell you if he went in for this program. His excitement may have been applying for it. Or maybe he thought up some lie.

While he wouldn't have excessive fines if he used AR, he WOULD have to pay restitution, which he can't afford. If he fails to pay restitution, then he violates the terms. They judge can also order community service along with the 2 years probation and the restitution.

    ReplyDelete
  67. the most important question is whether or not there will be a mug shot. that's all I want.

  68. At least the legal bill Frischling will have to pay might deter him from scamming others and being a complete douche bag.

back to what? Steven, you're kidding right? You have no clients and no income. Inane tweeting all day long is not a job.
Alright, lunch is over, back to work - 40 hours per week, a salary, benefits and all the other things Steven Frischling doesn't have!

    1. If you google Steven Frischling now, 75% of the first page is FishFraud. Thanks to all of the good work by the FishFraud fans. Anybody even doing the most basic background check will have to come to this site.

    2. It's the ones that don't background check you have to write to. And that Randy guy needs to have his head examined.

    3. I still find it hard to believe that anybody hiring a "social media strategist and executor" would not spend 5 minutes to do a google search. After all, he's supposed to be a social media genius. Wouldn't you want to at least check it out?

14 minutes since I called 911 that the transformer exploded and still no police or fire ... #WTF?

They were there in 10 minutes, drove right by my house!!!I drove by your house when the power went out, nobody was home!!! No cars and no candles or flashlights in your house. I knew you were going to try and take some sort of credit. Yes, I am writing this to you Steven because I know you check this site every 15 minutes. LOSER

Worst part of the power going out for 10hrs ... I had clothes in the dryer that needed to be dry by 8:AM ... UGH!!

Our power went out at 6pm and came on at 10:30pm THAT IS 4 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES STOP LYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steven, I saw when your lights went on. Why do you have to try and get sympathy from everyone. This is from the CL&P website:

Efforts to restore power to your area are continuing.
Some areas may require multiple repairs to fully complete restoration.
We last restored customers in your area on: Monday, January 23, 2012 10:30 PM

The power didn't go out at 12:30 in the afternoon LOSER!!! Your power was restored when mine was. I'd say stop it but you provide us with too much fun.

    1. Poor Stevie, if only he ran everything. The police and fire departments not living up to your heroic standards? I wonder how they feel about being critized by you, you being a self-proclaimed veteran EMT expert and all. I'm sure they appreciate that very much.

  91. Bwaaa ha ha ha! Thanks ^ neighbor! I think most of here have to call Steven Frischling on his BS from across the country so we don't have first hand knowledge of how pathetic his life is that he has to lie about the most mundane things. That is the sort of thing we would assume he was lying about but have no quick way to verify.

Kudos sir/ma'am. Thank you for being some eyes on the ground (and sorry you have to have Steven Frischling in your neighborhood)

    1. It's actually given myself and my spouse a hobby to do. We love being able to verify things asap. When the power went out last night, we actually said, "You know he is going to try and make this about him". That is why I went to his house to verify what he was doing and low and behold, he wasn't even home until much later. Sure enough he did. He can't help it or stop it. We will continue to keep you posted!!!

    2. Please be careful! Fischling is a madman. If he narrows down who you are, he will accuse you of running FishFraud, stalking his children and harassment.

I have a one year old smart phone and a computer at work and one 6 yr. old laptop at home on a DSL hardwire. I actually have a job that requires me to have communications capability with the 100+ people dependent on my services.

  94. Is everyone subscribed to get the email updates from the SAVIN System? I wonder if THE DAY would do a story on the most subscribed to criminal trial update. If all three of us are subscribed, then I doubt any other case has that many alert emails going out.

  95. For all you non-photographers reading this, WNYC had a nice profile of New York Daily News photographer (and frankly, a pretty legendary spot news photographer to many photographers around the country) Todd Maisel. Steven Frischling probably gets a hard on thinking about being like Todd Maisel. Steven Frischling would have loved to be like Todd Maisel. The only problem is that Steven Frischling happened to be Steven Frischling.

Here is the profile if you are interested in reading it.

  96. "So Senator Paul, I suggest you start by reading these two articles, then get to your business on The Hill:

How The TSA Legally Circumvents The Fourth Amendment

The Legality Of The TSA’s ‘Enhanced Pat Down’ Authority"

Of course those are links to "articles" written by Steven Frischling on his blog for which he earns nothing. So by all means I want a sitting U.S. Senator to waste his time on the unpaid, mindless, conflated ramblings of a self-avowed airlines industry expert who hasn't flown on a commercial jet or passed through a TSA checkpoint during actual air travel in a year. I'm sure all of the aviation officials and politicians who make aviation related policy in Washington, D.C. don't make a move without first doing their homework on this phoney guy's blog.
    Delusional people are so amusing.

    FF People,
Apparently our guy is dealing with a possibly terminal health crisis being suffered by an immediate family member. Let's just dial it down a bit for the next few hours/days to save some face. Stuff happens, even to people of dubious means. Seriously...let's give it a rest even if when I went through similar issues with my father I didn't tweet about it, because the three of us are bigger than that.
Trust me, he'll be back. In the meantime let's return to a modicum of humanity whether he deserves it or not.

Because the author of the statement is the most ignorant most in denial human being I have ever encountered. You know what? He's got his two Canons sitting on the table conveniently visible to the camera. The LAST thing I'd be doing is displaying my cameras on a table in a busy restaurant near an airport hotel (and TWO of them? Who does that?). Would YOU take professional advice from this guy?
