Frischling Finally in Court Wednesday!

Despite his Twitter claims that the Connecticut prosecutor thinks the case should be dismissed, epic winner Steven Frischling is due for his first appearance in court Wednesday! He is finally supposed to enter a plea after numerous postponements.

According to the public docket at jud.ct.gov, Frischling is finally listed with a lawyer - Bachand Discala. It appears he found his name on a billboard or late night TV as this firm specializes in personal injury lawsuits!

Even better... check out Mr. Discala's background, as mentioned in this 2008 article:
A Norwalk lawyer, who is accused of violating ethical rules, forging signatures on legal documents and deceiving a client in order to thwart a potential malpractice suit, offered testimony Tuesday to the statewide committee that oversees professional standards among lawyers.
According to the Connecticut Bar Association, Discala was officially reprimanded for his actions.

Oh to be a fly on the wall at that courtroom....

UPDATE: Frischling has failed to enter a plea once again! His case still says awaiting plea. His next arraignment will now be 8/19. How long can he try to stall this?

  2. Don't worry he's just tweeted:

You can't beat the feeling of nothing being held over you and being exonerated ... oh well, off to the beach and then onward I go :0)

  3. FF interesting - though the name was familiar... It's another "experts" (JohnnyJet) father..

  6. JohnnyJet's not much of an expert - pretty much on par with Fish - big self promoters. Except JJ gets his trips mainly comped, but hey...

    So what really happened today?

  7. where is the justice here?

  8. even though frischling has tweeted that he has been exonerated, I was just sent this email from the court that says differently...

  9. 11:11pm: Wait, are you actually implying that Frischling may have LIED in his tweet? I don't buy it, that would be so not like him.

    ReplyDelete
  10. How many continuations can he possibly be granted? The first one was easy because he didn't have a lawyer on record. The second was not too tough even for an ambulance chasing lawyer to get... lawyer needs more time to prepare a sufficient defense. Only so many of these one can get. Eventually Steven will have to enter a plea. Wouldn't it be better for his family to just get this done and over with? He'll most likely just get probation. Seems to me he's getting bad legal advice coupled to his outsized ego and undersized intellect means this sucker will get dragged out for who knows how long. Anyone on the board want to contribute to a little "witness" fund? Maybe we could collect a couple hundred bucks to pay a photog in the area a day rate to just simply sit in the audience during his hearing and give us a little synopsis of what transpires? I'd contribute. Especially if on Aug. 19 the court decides he is out of continuances and must enter a plea, finally.

    ReplyDelete
  11. His ambulance chaser wants as many continuances as possible because it gives him ample opportunity to run up the clock. Fighting this is going to cost Fish a small fortune. Especially considering he never went to college and is unemployed, the woman he knocked up a few times went to community college and probably has a shitty job and they have to pay all those kids cursed with their genetic material (really feel bad for them.)

Even if Steven gets off, he is pretty fucked.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Reset the clock!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I suspect a plea bargain is being formulated. He pays what he owes and maybe a lighter sentence. Of course the prosecutor probably needs to know that letting him off lightly means he will be back in trouble within 24 months, as his record shows.

Now if he skips a prison sentence that means he will claim victory. In his world that would be like a win. But we will then have more to work with, won't we?

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think Fish's best outcome is restitution + probation, but that's what a good lawyer would try. Not sure about these ambulance chasers.

    Regardless, he's financially fucked.

    And lol at 929pm.

    ReplyDelete
  15. yup, he's fucked no matter what. Anyway, FishFraud never had the expectation that Steven Frischling would be convicted of a felony, this is just like a super bonus that came at the last moment.

    ReplyDelete
  16. "too fucking bad, eh? now what are you fuck-offs gonna do?"

Well, I for one am going to wait for the next court date Steven. And check back in here from time to time to see what other asinine antics of yours are dug up.

And speaking of ball-less, how about you send out that darkroom photo of yours to prove that you aren't?

Your kids are going to be so proud of you when they grow up.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Eh em. Speaking of ball-less. How about answering some of the questions posed here about your resume? Eh? Cat got your balls?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Resume? Given that he pitches himself as a social media guru (puke) you can only imagine what his online reputation looks like. He is probably not only unemployable, he is untouchable.

Even if given a second chance, a few days of his efforts will display pathetic skills. So he'll get fired anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If somehow Frischling does get away with this, and let's face it, who is certain that justice will prevail, what kind of hollow victory would it really be for the guy? He's completely inept and will shoot himself in the foot very shortly. Some people can get away with crime and if not become a better person, at least be smart enough to not fuck up again. Most are too dumb and arrogant to change. I'd say Frischling is the latter.

    ReplyDelete
  20. But somehow Steven Frischling is able to convince companies like National Car Rental (of course until they were proactively warned by FF'ers) and Conde Naste for at least one job. It just proves there are still suckers out there and as long as there is, he will still be in business.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Social media and the travel business are very cliquish. He'll always find a job, and then get kicked out within a week.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @ 8.05 the industry might be "cliquish" and that can also go against him. Recently spoke with a colleague who said both Fish and Simpliflying have a bad reputation within the industry and it's only a matter of time... Both take others work (no thanks or acknowledgements) add their own "remarks" and brand it as their creations and profit from it!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Coming from the photo side of things, I have no idea how he gets all the flights he seems to get. They seem like relatively pointless round trip flights. Can those of you in the travel industry enlighten me?

We are still waiting for him to open his yap on SportsShooter. C'mon Steven, post something to the message boards. I want to see how fast a post can hit 50 by jumping your sorry ass.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ^ "...take others work..."

or make stuff up, fabricate stories, fake resumes, impersonate people...

    ReplyDelete
  25. 10.40:

I don't think he is booking gigs that take him around the world like that. NO ONE EVER would fly someone to paris to shoot for 140 minutes. If you are spending that much to fly someone overseas, you are going to shell out a day rate or two to get what you need.

In the last 5 years or so is when he really started pushing his ridiculous travel schedule. Where has he been published photographically in that time? Pretty much no where.

He is getting a few sparse gigs within the travel industry - i.e. free travel. But he is also getting to go free. Remember when he was supposed to fly on the new Airbus from Frankfurt and he got his twitter account suspended so he couldn't tweet about it? He got free access to fly in exchange for tweeting/promoting.

That's why you never see him promote his work in newspaper, magazines, and advertisements. It isn't because he is above self-promotion. It is because he isn't getting those gigs.

If you look at a real corporate photographer like Joe McNally - he is travelling with an assistant or two and a few hundred pounds of equipment. Fish doesn't simply because he doesn't have the skills, expertise, equipment or name.

Steven has no vision, and because of that, he isn't getting big gigs around the world. If you look at his portfolio, there is clearly nothing there you couldn't find on iStock or Flickr without searching a few keywords. It is so much expensive to fly a photographer around than find a local one, that it is ridiculous that SF convinces anyone he is doing that stuff everywhere.

My guess is he grabs TravelZoos' Top 20 Fares or gets buddy passes with people he dupes in the aviation industry. But no one is paying thousands of dollars for that fucknut to fly across the globe then only shoot for an hour or two.

  26. Never fear!!! Potential new role for Mr Fish

Now hiring interns! If u're an #Avgeek, love digital media + want to work on challenging marketing projects, email interns@simpliflying.com

    ReplyDelete
  27. 10:21:

Simplilying relies on #Avgeeks out of work and looking for job to become "employees". They write content and make infographics for free, then realize they been had then move on. Fish was one of those before he got kicked out after his felony charges

    ReplyDelete
  28. He was challenged on BoardingArea that his TSA interviews were faked. Instead of refuting that claim the comments were simply removed. He's full of crap.

    ReplyDelete
  29. ^ Why? Not one question posed here about the accuracy of Mr. Frischling's (I'm being kind) resume and inflated stories has been answered.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @8:32 - But Steven, you can't bury this site. Like a zombie, it will keep coming after you (why, I don't know because I always thought zombies liked brains, which you sorely lack - maybe they have a taste for BS).

Rest assured, even if Fish Fraud closed down this blog, another one of us would be happy to pick it up.

We will always be watching you.

    ReplyDelete
  31. On June 24th, FF posted this: "Blog post coming up about this and the AJC, Houston Chronicle and Poynter will all be appropriately shamed."

This tells me that after a brief return, the blog is dead again. Too bad.

    ReplyDelete
  32. i don't think this blog is 'dead' at all - it's showing up on the first page of results on google- which means it's doing its job flawlessly - all while driving fish crazy. long live FF!

    ReplyDelete
  33. ^ Fish your gall is amazing. Do you think the world that know's you is done with you? The gaping hole in your face, from which all manner to stupidity emerges, needs to be kept closed.

How incredibly naive you are - but I am not surprised.

  38. ^11:26. Let's see...Lying: Steven Frischling: oh, many many times. Anonymous blogger: 0. Hmmm. Keeping a name private is one thing, lying is another.

    ReplyDelete
  39. regardless of what you think of this site or the people behind it, there is no way that you can dispute that steven frischling has been lying through his teeth for years. he is a total fraud, a hack photographer and despised by hordes of people in the photo and travel industries. he has been sued multiple times for stiffing clients and has F rating with the better business bureau. if anyone wants to prove that his stories on sports shooter, digital wedding forum and other message boards are legitimate then lay out the facts. but, you will find that you can't dispute frischling's own words. he makes things up to get people to think that he is something that he is not. this is a fact. deal with it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Just found this page and I am a huge fan of this Fish Fry..so I must be #4!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Steven, if you are so in the clear and so confident of your innocence, please start posting again on Sports Shooter. And when anyone calls you on your BS, you can easily refute them with the facts. It's all very simple. Shine a light on how you have been wronged, how you have been maligned, how your words have been twisted. Lay out the facts so that we can all believe in you once again.

    Yeah, I didn't think so.

    Coward.

    Fraud.

    Liar.

Enjoy that sunny vulva of yours.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ha! Fish is on SportsShooter giving people "inappropriate" marks on their message board comments just because they mentioned the word "fish."

    Tool!

  45. Oh - thought y'all might like to know - Fish will be in court again tomorrow. He has rent problems - like not paying it.

See our boy wonder keeps on giving us material. C'mon Fish there is an explanation, right? When you explain this rent problem you can also explain the previous one.

One wonders how much longer anyone in Niantic will rent him anything. So sad for the kids. They don't deserve this.

  46. 4:50am, where did you see that? I could only find something from 2008. Could you post a link? It's so fun to see his name listed as a defendant.

Hope there is enough room for them all to live in his "wife's" beloved Volvo.

    ReplyDelete
  47. He certainly can find enough cash for all those Apple computers iPads

    ReplyDelete
  48. Steve was definitely doing something in court today. Just like his last court appearance, he was tweeting about wearing a sport coat.

    flyingwithfish Flying With Fish
    @
@majidahhashim well ... right now my @Scottevest sport jacket has an 11"MacBook Air, a legal sized folder, iPhone 4, headsets wired in, etc

I hope he paired it with that fucking ridiculous green Red Sox hat.

    ReplyDelete
  49. what, only one computer and no iPad?

    ReplyDelete
  50. yes, he had to go court yet again today but on an unrelated matter to his arrest. More details to come, FishFraud fans!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yet on twitter, it's a "meeting" he's dashing in an out of.......

    ReplyDelete
  52. He's tweeting the gear he brings to court!? Was he actually asked what gear he's carrying or did it just spontaneously enter his head that the fact that he owns a Scottevest and has all kinds of cool gear to go inside it would interest the entire universe? I don't think he's ever stopped telling people what kind of gear he has or what he puts it in.
