And Now for the 8th Time on the Criminal Docket... Steven Frischling!

Captain Continuance gets yet another delay in his double felony case. Next arraignment is September 30.

http://www.jud2.ct.gov/crdockets/CaseDetail.aspx?source=Pending&Key=4aadf5eb-bccd-46a6-983d-00af104ecb49

Since Frischling has already been sent a Bail Commissioners Letter, another failure to appear will result in a bench warrant issued for his (re)arrest.

Winning!

  1. Would some photographer in the NorthEast PLASE shoot this court appearance? Please!

  2. Maybe I can hire one of these cheap ass Craigslist "photographers" that advertise their services for $10.00 per hour (usually photographing couples in the park or babies in baskets) and send them. I can set up a PayPal account so the "photographer" doesn't know my real name and have them send the images to a free email account.

How can I stay anonymous and still hire a cheap ass photographer to shoot FishFuck's court appearance? I'd fork over the money to pay a fair day rate to a real shooter too but I wouldn't want FishFuck and Sunny Vula to unleash their collective Internet revenge on the poor real shooter... we clearly know they both have plenty of time on their hands to do it.

    Ideas?

Need aspiring photojournalist 9/30 (New London)

Are you a photographer looking to break into the field of photojournalism? Do you have a DSLR, an honest work ethic and the ability to capture raw emotion on film (well, actually, on a memory card)? Well, I have an assignment for you on Sept 30th at the New Haven Courthouse. I need a photographer to cover a plea hearing for a forgery and larceny case. We need photos of the defendant in front of the judge and we need you to be able to report back what happened at the court appearance. Photographs showing emotion, like tears, anger, fear, etc. are perfect. I'll need you to email me the photos shortly after the appearance. I can pay you a retainer before the shoot and the rest after the photos have been emailed. Pay will depend on your experience so if you have a link to portfolio or a website we can check out with your work then please include that in the email.

    Here's the case: http://www.jud2.ct.gov/crdockets/CaseDetail.aspx?source=Pending&Key=4aadf5eb-bccd-46a6-983d-00af104ecb49

  4. That's awesome! Maybe Susannah can shoot the gig to help defer Steven's legal fees.

  5. Someone should post this craiglist link on ss.com

    ReplyDelete
  6. you need to move that into gigs not forsale

  7. Yeah, one of you guys who has already been outed should post it. The ad, and the offer to pay some photographer are very real... I posted it.

  8. how is that getting the pj biz even deeper? its a paying gig, and I bet for the amount of work/usage the deal will be better then presswire

  9. Cameras in the courtroom are in a pilot program in Connecticut. You have to have a blimp or silence mode on your camera to be inside and you have to get approval ahead of time. If interested, contact judicial branch media relations: 860-757-2270.

Or you can just wait for a beat up yellow Volvo station wagon to pull into the parking lot.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Susannah,

Is that the same shitter that SF has been trying to stuff that occupation into for years?

    ReplyDelete
  11. I have to admit - the number of continuances is pretty amazing. Will we see double digits?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Does Susannah still have her old yellow Volvo? I see a pic of an older wagon and a little bit newer xc wagon in her pictures online. Then Steven apparently has decided to drive old beater Suburbans and Tahoes. I wonder if anything was repo'd? No rent, no car payment? No income? Those poor kids must live one hell of a life. What kind of parent puts their children through this? What kind of woman allows herself to be impregnated three times by a loser like Fish? Is she that stupid? Trapped? I wonder if there is any physical abuse or something held over her to get her to stay? In all her pictures she just looks angry.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Many of us photographers drive older cars because we spend all of our money on cameras and lenses. My 300mm f2.8 lens is worth more than my last two cars combined. I prefer four door passenger cars with sunroofs and split fold back seat for pass through access to the trunk because the Suburbans and Tahoes have an insatiable thirst for fuel, but the extra space would be nice sometimes.

  15. If Mr. Honest is so clean, why be afraid of having his court appearance reported? He's got nothing to worry about, right? What's he got to lose? If he's so full of integrity, why not welcome the scrutiny?

detained at a press event?! oh for fuck's sake. frouche, this fantasy of yours of getting hurt and repeatedly detained does not make you a better photographer. it makes you look even more retarded than you already are. I've been a photojournalist for 18 years and I have worked all over the world in some pretty harsh environments. I have never been detained once and I have never been pummeled with tear gas canisters, been shot, broken a bone or even received a cut.

  37. yup, consider the gutter the ss site has become. what, 200-some posts and they still can't figure out why the pj biz is in the shitter. just look in the mirror guys. out of curiosity, one wonders how many of those grunts shop at wal-mart. figure it out. for those of you that may indeed be the ones bitching about cutthroat competition, read an old article about the wal-mart effect. http://www.ag-econ.ncsu.edu/VIRTUAL_LIBRARY/ECONOMIST/novdec05.pdf

and brian, you might want to actually read the article, it was a lens that "fell from the sky."
"Journalism is a profession of" facts, actually. and you wonder why this biz is in the shitter.

    ReplyDelete
  38. if the SS site is such a "gutter," why did you pay $25 for a membership?

as for accuracy... maybe the lens fell from a plane on its way to "Columbia?"

    ReplyDelete
  39. Why would someone become a member of a website, refer to it as "the gutter," demonstrate their disdain for the membership by referring to them as "grunts who shop at Wal-Mart, and then continue to renew their membership every year?

I am a member of Sports Shooter, and I will state for the record that if I believed that it was a gutter populated entirely of undesirables, I would not wait until my membership expired but would cancel it immediately.

Why would someone pay to be a member of something that they consider to be beneath them?

  47. A late twitter post that slipped through the cracks of Fishdick Alerts....

Apparently he has elevated his status with a voice of authority. An expert in his own lunchtime.

What qualifications does Frischling possess to be considered a professional entering into media discussion about threat advisories?

    What a load of codswallop.

    @flyingwithfish Flying With Fish
@bastable I was discussing the history of #DHS threat advisories on Voice of Russia Radio yesterday with a US Justice Dept lawyer/professor.
    11 Sep via TweetDeck

    ReplyDelete
  48. @ 01:29

taken from the Voice of Russia website:

It sounds like something out of a science fiction movie: terrorist groups implanting bombs underneath their skin to beat out enhanced airport security measures. But that idea may not be too far-fetched. The Los Angeles Times says US administrators have warned airlines that extremist groups were considering surgically implanting explosives into people. The TSA confirmed that it has recently briefed air carriers about recent intelligence indicating continued interest of terrorist to target aviation. Joining us to talk about the warning is Brian Jackson, a terrorism analyst with the Rand Corporation and Steven Frischling, an aviation security expert and blogger, whose blog is called Flying With Fish.

http://english.ruvr.ru/2011/07/12/53113557.html (if you want to listen to the aviation security expert)

    ReplyDelete
  49. http://english.ruvr.ru/2011/07/12/53113557.html

According to the above it was a person from Rand not a government official. Big difference and why lie?

  50. @3:21

That was his first 'interview' with vor in July.

Frischling apparently had a second interview about threat advisories. He posted a twit to his followers on 11 Sept.

I searched for both SF & Flying with Fish on the website and that was the only interview in the results. Apologies in advance if there is a more recent one. :)

Man up and defend yourself instead of just marking posts "inappropriate." Why don't you Steven? Huh? Be a man a defend your honor, and by association, the honor of your wife and children. Step up and do it. Can SF produce his HAM operator license? He does not appear in the database:

    http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchAdvanced.jsp

    ReplyDelete
  62. In the FCC database, there is just a single license that has been granted to anyone with the last name of Frischling since 01/01/1975 and, surprise, surprise, it not Steven Frischling, but a David J. Frischling of Acton, ME.

Additionally, this license is for GMRS, which is a business class radio, not a ham license.

  64. So somebody asks about scanners. In just one comment on this thread, SF manages to mention: he has a HAM license, getting hassled by the police, shooting professionally at 17, shooting for multiple news outlets, being a victim of police harrassment (second time), acquiring a local police press credential, getting hassled yet again from the police, and owning yet another press credential he has from NY.
