  3. WOW! Unbelievably relevant, interesting yet timely news. I too, just shit in my pants over it.
So someone is actually proud to be quoted in this urinal, how sad!

  4. Say, 2:56. Ask Steve about getting some nifty NiMH-FAA Compliant stickers for your BP-511A batteries. He has a whole bunch just lying around. Go ahead, he says it will really help you when you need to get through TSA security in hurry for all those overseas assignements you're very busy shooting. He's a very smart guy. You should take his advice.

    ReplyDelete
  5. 2:56, You're a funny guy for visiting someplace you seem to hate so much. Must be some fetish or something you have, right? Some kind of odd defect. You don't have to be here if you don't want to, you know? Or you don't, apparently. Can't figure it out. What other explanation do you have for such odd deviant behavior?

    ReplyDelete
  6. ^2:56, sad indeed! Though not as sad as all the quotable nuggets clogging up this toilet crapped out by none other than Frischling himself.

  7. "So someone is actually proud to be quoted in this urinal,"

Sure beats getting laughed at in every photo workroom in the country.

  8. Class act from chrome-dome Liddy, posts a personal email sent to him on the SS site - class all the way.

  9. Much classier than the person who sent it and the rest of the US Presswire/Southcreek bottom feeding scum.

  10. Say, 4:57, ask Steven if he can verify those 17 TSA agents he claimed to interview for his blog. He told everyone that he promised not to reveal their identities, but when some editors asked him to verify the existence of the agents, he wouldn't do it. How come? Do you wonder why? Don't you think that if you claim to have done something and publish it that you allow the information to be verified so that your audience can trust you? Do you trust Steven Frischling if he behaves that way? How come you won't ask him?

    ReplyDelete
  11. ^4:57 I suppose you could call out people you don't like on Sportsshooter except for that pesky, having to use your actual name thingy...

    ReplyDelete
  12. Notice how the recent pro-Frischling posts are also pro-USPWhipped and S***creek?
That would point the finger to one chubby Rocky Mountain Oyster, the one who got scammed by the Guppy for $200.

  13. Funny thing about Fish is that he is such a shitty photographer he can't even get work US Presswire.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Why aren't any of you guys bitching about how Getty has photographers shooting on Spec? No one is bitching about Icon, who does the same thing.

At least Junkwire is paying an assignment fee. Its better than the fee I get for my local daily.

That's what I don't get. Why is Junkwire the only one to bear the brunt of the hatred, when Getty, Icon and most of the others do the same thing. Hell, AP has freelancers submitting on spec to AP Images.

I'd sure rather get 125 and keep my copyright than get 200 and lose the copyright to 20 images and only get the Time, Inc $50 free for all.

  15. Liddy, this fucking site and pig vomit, all one and the same.
"Much classier than the person who sent it and the rest of the US Presswire/Southcreek bottom feeding scum." Spoken from a true USPW shooter! Most of us know who you are there, ace.
So Mark Loundy, Photo Editor SAYS

Nice fucking move geezer!! Hey pops, your support is eroding, fast!

    ReplyDelete
  16. 6:15, So far you've been pretty stupid. You can't seem to focus on questions. Is that some defect in your brain? On his website Steven said he was named one of the best wedding photographers in the country by a big wedding association. He's been asked where we can see where he was given this honor. Would you like it if someone did that in your business especially if you had actually won any of those honors and he didn't? Do you think that's very cool? I'm losing hope here - you can't seem to understand anything. Maybe you should get some help.

    ReplyDelete
  17. 6:15 whose support is eroding fast?

    Liddy's or Loundy's?

I'm sorry, but Loundy isn't the legal legend that he thinks he is. He generally likes to hear the sounds of his own voice and is, more often than not, wrong. Liddy on the other hand is just blunt, honest and right.

You USPW shooters just don't like Liddy because he tells it like it is and exposes you all for the monopod pad sniffers that you really are.

    ReplyDelete
  18. so Andrew, let's get this straight:

lying constantly for attention; taking money for photos and failing to deliver said photos and then threatening and harassing these people, forging references from former employers and imaginary clients, plagiarizing real journalists, fabricating sources, committing felony forgery and and larceny, being a total deadbeat evicted from home after home, etc = ALL OK!

posting a sentence from a private email on a message board = WRONG AND OFFENSIVE!

Do we understand your values correctly?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think one of the obnoxious posters on this site is that dumb ass Brad Barr that Liddy quoted. That piece of shit is the poster child for wannabes everywhere. I love how he tries to out smart a half dozen guys who know better.

I think from now on we should call these USPW and Shitcreek people "specs".

Yes, that's it, from here on out they are no longer "spec shooters" but are now known as as "specs".

I'll use it in a sentence: "Hey, that guy over there hanging a remote is he a real shooter or a spec?" "Oh, he's just a spec, no need to make room for him in the workroom." "Yeah, the hell with those specs."

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well so far they've only managed to use words like shit, fuck, and made a big fuss over USPW Sportsshooter and some bald guy with a sharp eye and some wit. All distractions. So far, not one of them has been able to defend one thing this blog has said about Frischling's trespasses. Not one. I suspect they're as dumb as the words they use.

    ReplyDelete
  21. http://fishfraud.blogspot.com/p/fishfraud-rules.html

    Please.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The only thing lower than a "spec" is a "Frisch".

    ReplyDelete
  23. You're right 6:59, we can keep it to Fish. There's enough there to keep us entertained for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  24. They're here only to yank your chain. It's clear that's the only reason they show up here.

    ReplyDelete
  25. 6:11pm makes a valid point about the copyright ownership issue.

Thus far in this ongoing discussion, when people have been saying that spec shooters are "giving it away for free" it should be noted that this is in reference to the licensing fees for the images not a comment on the ownership of the images. This is certainly not a defense of giving things away, but a clarification of precisely what is being surrendered for insufficient compensation.

Years ago, people used to complain that individuals signing the AP contract and other similar work for hire agreements were "giving it away for free" which actually was a reference to the copyright and to be fair they were actually "giving it away" for $150 to $200 which was nowhere near enough for a full buyout at a time when a Sports Illustrated cover or Leading Off or a Street and Smith's cover or inside photographs in other similar photographs could bring serious money to the copyright holder.

More recently, Street and Smith's and several other publications no longer exist and Sports Illustrated can get images for $50 regardless of placement or size from several vendors. Obviously, there are other outlets and publications but each have raced the other to the bottom in terms of placement rates.

Copyright used to be the last hill for which all were supposed to stand their ground and fight to the last breath. The fact that agencies such as US Presswire are not insisting on owning the images suggests rather strongly that our collective archives may not have the long term value that we once believed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. We all have plenty of thoughts on shooting on spec, real shooters, shooting for free, keeping your copyright, which are all fine and valid - and have nothing to do with having a good laugh watching Frischling squirm because he's big fat liar. Keep in mind those brides when you comment - that seems to me what's important, at least to me. Frischling has no defenders - there hasn't been any defense.

    ReplyDelete
  27. thanks so much 7:31!! I don't know anything about photography but I despise Frischling of course. All these comments about spec and contract are lost on me and probably others.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 6:11 PM - You don't understand the biggest part of the issue, that is, which company holds the license for COMMERCIAL resales. You mistakenly equate shooting spec for Presswire/Icon/Southpark as somehow being equal with shooting spec for Getty or AP. What's the difference? Getty holds the commercial license for resales for NBA/NHL/PGA, and AP holds the NFL. Shooting on spec in these specific sports with licensed images actually have a good chance of making real, legitimate, resale money. Four and five figure money depending on the client. Presswire/Icon/Southpark will never be able to approach those figures as they only are able to make editorial resales, which are often single, maybe double digits if you are lucky.

But this is merely a distraction from what really matters. Let us not take our collective three pairs of eyes off the proverbial ball, which is why we are all here for the ongoing entertainment trainwreck...Steven Frischling, a liar, fraud, and soon, convicted felon.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Come on guys... If you want to debate Spec shooting some more, start a US Presswire Part 5 thread on SportsShooter... You are taking away from the pure entertainment of making fun of Fish... Get it together folks!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes,lets keep it focused on our favourite topic - Steven Frischling & lies. If not,you risk alienating the non-photogs.

    ReplyDelete
  31. hahahaha.... Fishfuck has been up since 02:30, tweeted he couldnt sleep, so he visits his favorite blog to check up on new development!!

    Prick.

Instead of defending your good character with honest and truthful proof against some serious allegations, you prefer to spew ranting obscenities over 'rules'.

It's going to be a late night, Frischling. Go put on your Froot cereal tshirt since you have proof of a small challenge posed to you by teenage girl. It is about all you can prove, the rest of your stories is pure bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  32. 12:35. I'm sorry. What? Did you say something? I'm so sorry. I was busy talking to Moe and Zeppo, and Tweetie. We're having too much fun making up rules to piss that guy off!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hey Brad, why didn't Liddy post the whole email? If the rest of it was anything like the one's you sent to a bunch of us other SS posters it would just embarrass you more. This blog is about the misadventures of the famous Fishster. Just because Liddy stuffed your head even further up your ass than it already is doesn't mean you can drag your sorry life into this blog. Wait, here's an idea. Why don't you drive up from your trailer in Florida and hold the Fish's hand when he goes into court. Maybe your pals at SouthCreek Global will pay you $.25 for a photo of you two losers.

    ReplyDelete
  34. First thing, I love this site. Not a photog, so some of the recent discussion is lost on me, but interesting nonetheless.

Not sure I understand SF or Sunny Vulva's fascination with crapping in their pants. I mean two of the same references in less than a day? That's just plain strange. And what's with the chrome dome stuff on Liddy? Is that supposed to be some kind of slam? Is it a big deal that someone is bald? Keep up the good (weird) comebacks!

  38. Does this county where FishTurd will be serving time have an online gallery of booking photos? P-L-E-A-S-E someone tell me they do! Please let's get a booking photo of this ass clown.

  39. A Class C felony in Connecticut, which Fishfuck is being charged with, carries a 1 to 10 year sentence and a fine up to $10,000.

    Just sayin'

    ReplyDelete
  40. Sorry:

"Connecticut State Police have long denied media requests for mug shots, saying they are not part of the official arrest record. That policy contradicts an earlier ruling by the FOI Commission in a complaint against a municipal police department."

    http://nuweb9.neu.edu/firstamendmentcenter/?p=564

    ReplyDelete
  41. Has anyone done a public records request for any photos that may have been taken when he was originally booked and released?

I have a hard time believing that:

    a) They would take fingerprints and bond money but not take a digital photograph of the offender.

    b) That said photograph wouldn't be part of the public record since it would have been taken by a public employee with a camera purchased with government funds and that is resides on a criminal justice database.

I'd pay BIG money for a print of a booking photo of Steven Frischling... BEST Sportsshooter FunPix EVER. I'd hang it on the wall of my office and donate one to the PJ program at the nearest university as a warning as to what WILL happen to your life if you are a lying sack of shit.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Steven, have you figured out how much the ENTIRE photojournalism industry hates you yet?

Apparently he is "to" tired to ever learn how to write at a fifth grade level...and can somebody get their arms around his concept of productivity? Mine involves creativity and earning an income, not just tweet linking and re-blogging other people's work for no remuneration.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Regarding the mug shot.... I tried to obtain it a couple months ago. I've managed to get them released from local police departments in CT but not the CT state police. When I contacted the state police they said they had a policy prohibiting the release of booking photos. I would have to file a FOIA request and, as much as I'd like to get the mug shot, just don't have time to deal with a FOIA. Anyone have time to file a FOIA?

  45. @9:32. Insomnia, unruly kids, debating what to eat for breakfast, etc. Fishdick's tweets are just another lame attempt to get people to pay attention to him and to feel a bit sorry for him.

If he actually had a job, maybe he'd be tired at the end of the day and could fall asleep like those of us who put in a full day's work.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks for trying anyway 9:59. It was worth a shot. Can you imagine how many way we can enjoy a FishTurd booking photo?

  48. Frischling,

On a collective note, we will make sure to post regular countdown updates so you wont forget your appointment.

How wonderful a memento, in the coming years, when your family gathers round a computer to read up what daddy did and how his loyal friends helped him in time of need.

The ONLY way you can rectify this public humiliation upon your sorry ass is to display sincere contrition, settle all outstanding obligations and promise never to engage in any media related occupations, it would be pretty much guaranteed this blog would be a distant memory.

The flipside is a lifelong and intense piss taking from all your former colleagues. How much of the truth can you take?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah Fish-the-former-photojournalist, what will your kids think of you when they're old enough to Google their daddy's name? All the stories you've told; clearly they're going to Google you and find ALL of this stuff.

Let me guess, you'll tell them that it was the TSA framing you in an effort to intimidate you and throw you off their case... that'll work until they're about 11 and smarter than you.

    Before I started shooting regular assignments about 30+hrs a week I was a 10th grade student :0)

Along the way I split my time between EMS and photojournalism, obviously I picked one over the other."

30 hours a week shooting regular assignments? In High School?

Maybe if you had spent more time on your homework and less time on your "shooting assignments", you would have learned what Larceny and Forgery are.

    ReplyDelete
  53. 12:29 - just like some don't have time to show up for their plea hearing? Do you suppose the individual that doesn't have time to deal with the FOIA request will be getting a letter from the court? Are you even able to post without using the F word? Law abiding citizens want to know.

    ReplyDelete
  54. 12:29, to call the state directly and request the photo if available, we can presume he/she would have been ready to give a name, address and phone number.

    ReplyDelete
  55. And Andrew Fielding... Take note. All of this could be yours in a couple of years.

Head down. Get off The Frischling radar screen.

It is going to get intense, and you really can't afford to be in the line of fire, branded as a Fish Follower. In fact, you seriously need to figure out a sound strategy to disown any association from the lying, thieving scumbag.

Keeping quiet is not going to cut it. Your name will always be connected to Frischling unless you publicly speak out.

Good luck, pal. Make a clean cut now before gangrene sets in.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The best part of viewing a photo of FishTard and SunnyVulva is that I dont have to photoshop either the penis bobble-head or the epic Gilgamech vagina onto their torso's... they're obviously already there. Just look and listen.

Soon you'll have to leave Fishtopia and get a real job stamping out license plates on our behalf eh, DoucheBag?
At least we know SunnyVulva will make it out on the streetcorner turning tricks- if she can takea good mushroom stamping from you for yrs.... then she is already a PRO.

  57. Venomous insults are so becoming.

Follow the thread, buddy and show us the proof. It is as simple as that.

Prove to us that you are a straight up guy with guts, pride and honor. NO MORE BULLSHIT, FRISCHLING.

The end result of your following action will either remove all doubt or confirm for all time you are in fact a lying, scumbag piece of shit.

Your choice, buddy. Are you a man of standing or a piece of shit? Before you answer, think how your family will feel when they read this YEARS from now..... over to you, bigboy.

    ReplyDelete
  58. 1:35. Blech. Boy, do you know how to throw fuel on the fire. Just keep it up, pal. You're an object lesson in what exactly not to say and write in public. Do you know anything about public relations? This could really suck on a resume. Well, too bad about that, everyone already knows. But, please, by all means, continue. Your zings and snappy retort are really impressing all of us. It's tremendously fun to watch this happen to someone who truly deserves it. Rules? You mean rules like, uh, something like do not steal, and do not bear false witness. Sure, rules, pesky things when they don't apply to you.

    ReplyDelete
  59. After seeing this, would anybody hire Steven Frischling to run their blog or do their social media strategy? You would have to be insane.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Addison Schonland has nothing to do with this blog whatsoever. This blog was begun long before we ever heard of Frischling forging the KLM invoice.
