Frischling sues landlord for $15k+

Steven Frischling's daughter fell on the stairs in July 2012, smacked her mouth on the landing and needed nine stitches on her mouth. Nearly two years later, in June 2014, Frischling filed a lawsuit against his (probably former) landlord, alleging negligence on the homeowner's part, and claiming that:
"she has, may, and probably will for an indefinite time in the future suffer great pain, inconvenience, embarrassment, and mental anguish ... and be deprived of ordinary pleasures of life, loss of well-being and equanimity and her overall health, strength and vitality has been greatly impaired"

If this was a legitimate lawsuit, why wait 23 months to file? Surely it would have been obvious immediately if this poor kid, already sentenced to a lifetime of having Steven Frischling as a father, was truly facing a lifetime of suffering from this accident? Nine stitches, while no doubt painful, does not sound like a massive scar.

You can read the information here. Oddly, however, in the documented dated 9/11/2014, the landlord responds to additional allegations that appear to revolve solely around an accident Fish had as he describes Frischling as being negligent in attempting to "traverse a wooden bridge with a loaded truck" while he "failed to make reasonable use of his own sense and faculties."

The case appears to be ongoing. The last activity was in June. Do you think the landlord would like to know about FishFraud?

Frischling claims to have been on a Coast Guard boat that capsized

In addition to his unbelievable number of airplane near disasters, giant success Steven Frischling claims he was once on a Coast Guard rigid hull inflatable boat that "flipped over" (ie capsized) .

One of our faithful FishFraud fans saw that and for some reason suspected it was bullshit, and emailed the information officer for the United States Coast Guard for the Northeastern United States. The response:
"Thank you for your inquiry. Being that this alleged incident took place within the last 10 years, we don't have any knowledge on it. If you could narrow down the date, you could possible file a FOIA request for any MISHAP reports occurring at the Station during that time frame. I will say it does sound highly doubtful that a CG Station Jones Beach asset would have flipped, but again I cannot comment either way without more background information. Coast Guard members typically transfer stations every 3-4 years, and I couldn't find anyone with knowledge of this incident."

Any such incident would result in an investigation and most likely be available online, but nothing can be found. Here is the report for a capsized USCG vessel in Alaska:
So Frischling we need more information here. Your fans are fascinated by your adventures and need more information from you. If you really were on a U.S. Coast Guard vessel that "flipped," when did this occur? Edit to add: Frischling also claims to have pissed from a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter.

Did you buy Steven Frischling's book, "The Traveling Photographer's Essential Pocket Guide"?

Neither did we, or anyone for that matter. According to Steven Frischling, on July 22, 2008, he "just inked a contract" to write a mere 135-page book called "The Traveling Photographer's Essential Pocket Guide." (See our previous post on this topic.)

He spammed every forum he could with the same post, bragging on FlyerTalk and on this forum about his accomplishment. On the second forum, he claims "This is not a book I had written an (sic) pitched, this is a book I was approached to write by the publisher."

This is mystifying. It's now been SEVEN YEARS and the eagerly awaited tome has yet to appear. Queries on SportsShooter from eager photographers ready to hand over their money have been met with radio silence. Fish refuses to tell us what happened to his book that an "international publishing firm" was eager to pay him to write (but only after "a few months of negotiations" of course).

We know you're special Fish, but why hasn't the book come out yet? Shouldn't you have been able to handle at least a rough draft? Surely the "international publishing firm" would have granted you a few deadline extensions. How hard is it for a professional photographer who has claimed to have amassed "1 million frequent flyer miles" to write a short book full of tips for traveling photographers?

Tell us FishFraud Fans, do you think he had a book deal and failed to deliver anything worth printing or do you think he made the whole thing up?

Frischling lies about using vintage camera

Everyone's favorite authentic photographer Steven Frischling has tweeted at least two photos and claimed they were taken with a vintage Polaroid camera. Everyone knows Poloraids have that distinctive look, right? As always let's take a look at yet another claim that's so stupid any 8-year-old could debunk it.

Photo 1: Fenway Park

Photo 2: Arad Fort, Bahrain

So how do we know this is a lie? First of all, anyone who has ever used a Polaroid camera knows they come out very clean with a nice white border. Yet Frischling's photos both have a rough edge. It is possible, theoretically, that he achieved this look doing a Polaroid transfer like this.

Except that both of the have the identical rough edge, which is, for all intents and purposes, fucking impossible. Note that with the Arad photo, he claims it was taken "long before Instagram" and its popular vintage filters, so these are not digitally added borders, he seems to be saying.

Oh my my my what is this that we have here? Why it's a site where you can download a Photoshop file to make your own fun and vintage to pretend! Go to http://pshero.com/goodies/photo-borders/polaroid-giant-format-photo-border to get the border he used yourself:

So what's the deal here Frischling? You've been caught in another lie. What is your excuse? Were you embarrassed about the quality of your photos? Do you truly believe that real professional photographers can't spot your bullshit? Or do you get some kind of special thrill duping travel enthusiasts on Twitter?

PS Here's a good photo of Arad, courtesy of Jun Manabat Photography on Flickr:

Fish's ex officially throws him back to the sea!

Attention single ladies: There's plenty of fish in the sea, including a rotten one. Be sure to throw it back if it looks like this.

It seems Fish's ex has finally come to her senses and kicked him to the curb! Thanks to anon who posted this court record of child custody case from the last year. No information available online for family court cases but she is listed as the plaintiff and he is the defendant, so she sued his ugly ass. Hopefully she sued for get full custody of their children and checked the box for him to go fuck himself.

The amazing part is that she represented herself (no doubt FishFuck bled her dry of every penny) but he had an attorney! Wonder which family member he conned to pay for that. It appears the case was last updated on June 25. Let's hope the judge had a brain and saw his timeline of failure, fraud and pathological lying. You have to wonder what kind of fantastic fabrications in the web of lies he probably spun to beg for his kids.

None of the details of the Connecticut records are online but maybe FishFraud needs to come on down to that court and spend a day reading all the information in public records on this winner, including all his evictions, for your enjoyment.

In a show of support for the ex-Never Mrs. Frischling, Team FishFraud will scrub her real name from any of our blog posts mentioning her in the next few days.

Some company has hired Steven Frischling!

According to Steven Frischling's Twitter stream of textual diarrhea, he claims to have started a brand new job! That means some company hired him in a complete and total human resource #fail.

But this is an exciting new development for the FishFraud Mod Squad. We admit it was the recent updates surrounding the tragic fate of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that made one of us wonder what kind of bullshit he was spewing in his "coverage" and "analysis" of the developments. Thus we discovered he is still bullshitting away, and once again, it is time to expose him and alert the unalerted to his colorful history. Not only is this justified, but we feel we must do it for the lulz. Everyone who has ever dealt with this man deserves some kind of reward and we will do our best.

Now it's time for some investigation. Who would possibly hire this winner? How does he have a single job reference? He must have fabricated his entire resume, references included, and nobody checked to see if any of it is true. But the investigation will be a short one: Since he must constantly brag about his various exploits, and that his only three skills are connecting to the Internet, typing with bad spelling and sharing his photos (except for the weddings he was paid to photograph, of course!) we're confident he will immediately reveal who hired him (even if he tries not to).

And not only that, he claims to be flying to Syria today for this brand new job! Syria, where the government is bombing civilians, ISIL is running amuck and Jews are always warmly received! Good luck, Fish, and we'll be waiting for you when you land.

Strike that. Turns out he tweeted he was flying to Syracuse!! Syracuse! We had assumed by the ridiculous number of useless details he Twatted about this flight from JFK, we assumed SYR was some sort of interesting destination! So what companies are in Syracuse that would have accidentally hired him?

Anyone in the mood for deep fried Fish?

Has it really been 3.5 years since our last post?! Wow time sure flies when you have a job and are not being constantly evicted for squatting and sued for fraud.
